Ghanaian Puff Puff Seller Jailed 5 Months For Stealing In Lagos.

A 22-year-old Ghanaian, Mohammed Daniel, 22, was yesterday sentenced by an Eb*tte-Metta magistrate court to five months imprisonment without an option of fine, for stealing tricycle parts valued N550,000.

Mohammed was convicted after he was found guilty on three count charges of conspiracy, stealing and escaping from police custody.

The offence, according to the prosecutor, contravened Sections 106 and 285 of the criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2011.

When college-aged adults binge drink it may hinder the function of their blood vessels, a small new study finds, possibly setting the stage for later heart disease.
"Consequences of binge drinking may extend beyond just a bad hangover, and may actually interfere with the current and future cardiovascular health of young adults," said Shane Phillips, senior study author and an associate professor and associate head of the department of physical therapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Lipsticks and lip glosses apparently give you more than colorful kissers, according to a new study by California scientists that contends the products contain lead, cadmium, chromium, aluminum and five other toxic metals.

The research team tested 32 different lip glosses and lipsticks commonly sold at drug and department stores. Some metals were detected at levels that could raise potential health concerns, the researchers said.
