Glitz And Glamour As Triplets Wed Same Day

“We were born together, and together we shall be forever” is a sentence that best captured the atmosphere in Lagos as ecstatic hundreds of relatives, friends and well wishers gathered to witness the solemnization of triplets whose dream of  tying the nuptial knots same day came to fulfillment.
As the triplets, Olumayowa, Funmilayo, and Temitope -cleaved to their spouses, in the Shell Hall of Muson Centre, Lagos last month, their faces brimmed with undying joy, as all present commended the rare unity and love as exuded by the trio.

“It has always been our dream to have our wedding ceremonies the same day. But initially, we were not serious about it. Being the only woman among the two identical men, I knew it could be possible. God just brought our spouses almost at the same time,” one of the triplets, Funmilayo said shortly after signing the dotted lines with her heartthrob, Olatunji Oluwatayo.
“Though we played a lot of pranks on our parents, but we never dated or had anything to do with a particular girl. We were too decent for that. We can communicate within ourselves without any other person understanding, not even our parents. We are from Ekiti State but were born in Port Harcourt,” Olumayowa confirmed.
On their parts, parents of the triplets, Mr. and Mrs. Ajayi Ogunsemo, expressed immeasurable joy, describing the wedding day as one of their happiest days on earth.  “I have always loved twins, even before I married and became pregnant. I used to give gifts to twins anywhere I spotted any because I really wanted to have twins. When God gave me the triplets, my joy knew no bounds. In all, I have eight children,” the triplet’s mother, Mrs. Ogunsemo said.
Admitting that the identical boys do play pranks on her, the elated woman continued: “it was a big problem differentiating them. In fact, they used to play pranks on me (Laughs).  Finding wives was not easy for the men because ladies easily fell in love with them, maybe because of their straightforwardness and hardworking nature,” she said.
