Bra Dryer 2.0: A New Way to Dry Your Brassieres

Bra Dryer 2.0: A New Way to Dry Your Brassieres

As a response to the hassle of bra drying, engineer Alexander Farennikov has created the RicasolBra Dryer 2.0: This drying device is perfect for those times when you don’t want to ruin your overpriced delicate brassieres in a regular laundry dryer and waiting for them to air dry just takes too long. This new device uses infrared light to soak up the moisture from your bras in 20-30 minutes.

The 35-year-old told the Daily News, “The idea actually came from a female friend who asked why it’s such a problem drying bras.” So he set out to find a solution and created the bra dryer.
Here’s exactly how it works: The user drapes her bra over the molding on the appliance. She enters information about the size of the bra and amount of padding into the Bra Dryer’s electronic control panel. The device uses these details to figure out the appropriate air temperature and volume to dispense. Within 20-30 minutes the bra is dry.
The Bra Dryer 2.0 will be available in 2014 and is estimated to cost between $150 and $200.
